Mish, 65 GREENVILLE William Henry "Billy" Mish of 255 Broadhead School Road, Greenville, died Saturday (May 21, 2005) in the Blue Ridge Christian Home, Raphine. He was born Nov. 26, 1939 at Brownsburg to the late William P. and Angeline (Patterson) Mish.
Prior to retirement, Mr. Mish was the postmaster for the Greenville Post Office. Survivors include a brother, Finley P. Mish of Greenville A graveside service will be at 4 p.m. Monday in Bethel Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

Humphries, 93 STAUNTON Raymond "PeeWee" Moundell Humphries, husband of Thema Lorene (VanFossen) Humphries, of Gypsy Hill House, 500 Street, Apt. 113, Staunton, died Thursday (May 19, 2005) at Augusta Medical Center, Fishersville.
He was born March 17, 1912, at Augusta County to the late Harris Shuey and Annie Pearl (Shover) Humphries. Prior to retirement, Mr. Humphries1 was employed by Western State Hospital. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Thornrose Cemetery.

Richard Morris, 88 GROTTOES Richard Morris, of 4556 Eastside Highway, died Thursday (May 19, 2005) at Augusta Medical Center, Fishersville. He was born April 1, 1917 at Green County to the late William Chapman and Elizabeth Collier Morris. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Deborah Sue Bartley, as well as several brothers and sisters. Survivors include six daughters, Rowena Imogene Anderson of Waynesboro, Myrtle Arlene Warble of Lyndhurst, Betty Lee Eutsler of Grottoes, Genevie Teter of Grottoes, Muriel Carolyn Early of Florida and Vicky Darlene Willis of North Carolina; one brother, Venice Morris of Barboursville; and two sisters, Geneva Faist and Hazel E. Snow, both of Maryland.

Humphries, 64, Calvin Richard Humphries, 64, of 900 Dogwood Circle, died Saturday (May 21, 2005) at Augusta Medical Center, Fishersville. June M. Kaylor, 83 GROTTOES June Evelyn (Miller) Kaylor died Friday (May 20, 2005) at Augusta Medical Center, Fishersville. She was born Dec. 23, 1921, at Grottoes to the late Edward Myers and Thelma Orndorff Miller. She and her husband owned and operated Kaylor's Market and Restaurant, and she had worked at AMC Credit Union.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Elmer Kaylor. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Frances Miller Hyland and Ruby Miller Morris. Survivors include one son, Tony Gordon; two daughters Sally Haag and Kathy Shifflett, all of Grottoes; and one brother, Larry Miller of McLean. Services will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens in Harrisonburg.

Saturday, May 21, 2005, at the Augusta Medical Center in Fishersville. He was born March 1, 1941 in Harrisonburg, the son of the late Elmer Richard Humphries and Eilar Via Humphries who survives. He was an U.S. Army Veteran, a member of Wayne Hills United Methodist Church, retired as a Design Draftsman from General Electric. He enjoyed farming and NASCAR racing as his hobbies.

CHARLES RICHARD STAUBUS DANVILLE, VA Charles Richard Staubus, 60, of 119 Cathy Place, died Saturday, May 21, 2005 in the Piney Forest Health Care Center. He was born in Churchville, Va on December 14, 1944, a son of Charles William Staubus and Francis White Staubus. He was a Class 1962 graduate of North River High School, Mt. Solon, VA and served in the United States Air Force. He had been a resident of Danville for the past 31 years and was owner and operator of Styles by Charles.
He was past president of the National Cosmetology Association of North Carolina. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Mt. Solon, VA. He is survived by a brother, Donald Staubus of Mt.
Solon, VA. A memorial service will be held, Friday, June 3, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. from Townes Memorial Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service. The family suggests the memorials may be sent to the St.

ETHEL HERRING MORRIS PINEVILLE, VA Ethel Herring Morris, 95, formerly of the Pineville area died Monday morning, May 16, 2005 in the Sunnyside Presbyterian Retirement Community where she had been a resident since August 2004. She was born December 23, 1909 in Rockingham County and was a daughter of the late Monroe and Lydia Shifflett Herring. She was a member of the Mount Olive Brethren Church.
She was employed by the Metro Pants Company and later by Swift and Company. On September 16, 1929 she married Albert Peter Morris, Sr. who died September 8, 1972. She is survived by; four sons, Albert P. "Pete" Morris Jr.
of Elkton, Kenneth "Sonny" Morris of Shenandoah, Elwood C. "Woody" Morris of Staunton, and Larry L. Morris of Clover Hill; four daughters, Phyllis Hensley of McGaheysville, Marelia "Sissy" Smith of Elkton, Betty Dofflemyer of Elkton, and Clariene Cogle of Hampton; one sister, Lillian Herring of Elkton. Thirty one grandchildren, fifty four great-grandchildren and thirty one great-great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday morning, May 24, 2005, at 11:00 o'clock in the Mount Olive Brethren Church in Pineville by the Reverend Fredric G.

JUNE EVELYN (MILLER) KAYLOR FISHERSVILLE, VA June Evelyn (Miller) Kaylor, 83, of Grottoes, died Friday, May 2 20, 2005, at Augusta Medical Center in Fishersville. She was born on December 23, 1921, in Grottoes, and was daughter of the late Edward Myers and Thelma Orndorff Miller.
She was a life-time member the Grottoes Church of the ren, where she was active in her music ministry. She played the piano and organ in the church, until she was 81 years old. She served as Church Board Chairman, taught Sunday school, served on several boards, member of the Ladies Fellowship, and active in Spares and Pairs. Her grandfather (Benjamin F. Miller) built the Grottoes Church of the Brethren, in 1915.
She worked at DuPlan, before she and her husband built and operated the Kaylor's Market and Restaurant, from 1955 to 1982. After retirement she worked AMC Credit Union and also did volunteer work at AMC. After retirement she played an all Ladies Band called the High Noon Symphonettes, in which she played a wash tub and broom bass. She was the youngest member, being in her late 60's and was able to carry her instruments. She was a member of the New Hope Chorus.
She enjoyed sports, where she and her husband supported the RCLB, and Grottoes Little League. In 1981 they donated the land for the present Kaylor Ball Field, Grottoes. One of her greatest pleasures was watching the children play out of her picture window, and especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren, which were the greatest blessings of her life. She was a graduate of Port Republic High School, class of 1939, where she was the class valedictorian. She was united in marriage to Hubert Elmer Kaylor, who preceded her in death in 1982.
She is survived by one son Tony and wife Kathy Gordon, two daughters Sally and husband James Haag, Kathy and husband Doug Shifflett, all of Grottoes, one brother Larry "Bunky" Miller of McLean, VA. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren Molly Salvador, Tracy Rosario and husband Jamie Haag and wife Christy, Jonathan Haag and wife Meghan, Jason Haag, Tim Nicely and wife Becky, Jeff Nicely and wife Rhonda, 10 great grandchildren Shanna Cullop, Amber Cullop, Tony Colon, Nickolas CoIon, Emily Colon, Jacob Haag, jah Haag, Austin Nicely, Dylan Nicely, and Dalton Nicely. She was preceded in death by two sisters Frances Miller Hyland, and Ruby Miller Morris. A graveside service and burial will be Tuesday, May 24, 4:00 P.M. at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens in Harrisonburg.

RAINNIE WEAVER STAUNTON, VA Rainnie Weaver, 74, of Staunton passed away on Friday, May 20, 2005 at Augusta Medical Center.
Born in Fordwick, VA, he was the son of the late Wallace Weaver and Nancy Robertson Weaver. Mr. Weaver was of the Protestant faith and was a United States Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He retired from Western State Hospital with 26 years of service and after his retirement he was a caregiver for many in the Staunton area. Mr.
Weaver was an avid horseracing fan. Surviving are two daughters, Dreama Farrish and her husband Steven of Stuarts Draft and Violet Murphy of Staunton. One son, Richard Weaver and his wife Denise of Waynesboro, VA. Three grandchildren, Derek Farrish, Ashley Murphy and Laura Murphy and two great-grandchildren, Dameron and Ashton. Mr.
Weaver is survived by a special friend Mary Helen Frank of Staunton and her daughter, Barbara Trimble and her husband Melvin of Springfield, VA and their children Kent Trimble and Susan Matterson. Also, three sisters Alta, Susan and Frances. Graveside service with military rites will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 24, 2005 at Culpepper National Cemetery in Culpepper, VA. He was born November 26, 1939 in Brownsburg, a son of the late William P. and Angeline (Patterson) Mish. Prior to retirement, Mr. Mish was the Postmaster for the Greenville Post Office for a number of years. He was a former member of the National Guard.
He was an avid collector and stamp collector. was a gun, member of Bethel Presbyterian Church. Family members include a brother and sister-in-law, Finley P. and Beverley (Conner) Mish two nephews and their wives, F. P.
Mish and Cornelia Mish, and Gary T. and Carol Mish; three great nieces, Christina Mish Chandler and her husband, Matt, Lindsey Mish, and Laura Mish; and one great nephew, Trevor Mish, all of Greenville. A graveside service will be conducted at 4 p.m. Monday (May 23, 2005) in Bethel Presbyterian Church Cemetery by the Revs. Joel P.
